Process of Robot Dixie: Welcome, Here you'll see from the Beginning sketches and all the way to the day of installation in Vermont.

Here are what is in my head, since I do not know what the material or content is, sketches of its gesture and structure was my first approach. The second stage would be shopping for toys and begin the building process.

These are the toys I have gathered from many thrift stores, dumpster diving, and donation from friends. example of some of the toys are Piano, Color Wheel, Barbie doll, Tonka trucks, match box cars, Toy Guns, Legos, etc......

Setting up the body position, hung by wires & chains. This all take place in my Studio in Minneapolis, MN.
